The Process

  • To start, choose a heater that fits your garage size and insulation type, considering available fuel or power options. Popular garage heater types include gas, electric, and propane, so be sure to also check for safety features like overheat protection and automatic shut-off.

  • Before installing the heater, you need to prepare your garage for the installation process. This includes clearing the area where the heater will be installed, ensuring that there is proper ventilation, and checking that the wiring and fuel lines are in good condition. You should also make sure that you have all the necessary tools and materials, such as a drill, screws, and a level.

  • Once we have prepared your garage, it's time to install the heater. This may involve installing brackets to secure the heater, connecting the fuel lines, and wiring the electrical components.

  • After installing the garage heater, you should test it to ensure that it is working properly. Turn on the heater and check for any unusual sounds, smells, or leaks. You should also make sure that the heater is heating your garage effectively and efficiently. Once you are satisfied that the heater is working correctly, you can start using it to keep your garage warm and comfortable. Remember to follow all safety instructions and guidelines, and to keep the heater well-maintained.

Included in this installation process are the necessary electrical permits, electrical hook up, gas permits and gas hook ups. Every system has a gas shut off valve and electric safety switch. These additional components ensure that the system is installed in a safe and code-compliant manner.
